The Impressive TimesMumbai, May 7 , 2024 : Palghar sitting Member of Parliament, Dr. Rajendra Gavit, rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule here on Tuesday. Welcoming Gavit, Fadnavis stated that Gavit has vast experience in politics as an MLA, MP, and Tribal Development Minister. “The benefit of Mr. Gavit’s experience will be more in the state than in Delhi,” Fadnavis said. “Gavit has joined BJP only with the consent of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde,” said Fadnavis. further added that it is with Gavit’s consent that BJP has nominated Hemant Savra for the Lok Sabha elections in Palghar. “I have full faith in Mr. Fadnavis. He is a leader who keeps his word in politics,” Gavit said. He also said that he will carry out the responsibility that the BJP leadership assigns him from now on.
