YEIDA’s newly appointed CEO, Rakesh Kumar Singh stressed the urgency of delivering on major infrastructure timelines, saying “We’re committed to meeting the January 2026 deadline.
The administrative building is complete, utilities are in place, and construction by seven companies is already underway.” Central support is strong, a Rs 100 crore grant has been allocated, with Rs 60 crore disbursed so far 70% earmarked for high-end equipment and 30% for infrastructure. The Uttar Pradesh Government is also investing Rs 339 crore, of which Rs 239 crore has already been spent on land development and essential utilities such as roads, sewage, water, and power networks. Currently, 89 out of 254 plots have been allotted including 23 with lease deeds executed and 10 sanctioned for construction.
In addition to seven companies actively building, the park’s most prominent tenant, TI Medical, has secured an 11-acre allotment for manufacturing devices targeting serious health conditions like cancer, kidney, lung, and liver ailments. CEO elaborated on the facility’s blueprint, “The administrative building will house a general tooling room, 3D division, rapid prototyping, mechatronic zone, electronics assembly, export promotion cell, incubation centre, centre of excellence, skill development hub, and shared offices.”
With this surge in development, the Medical Device Park is positioned to become North India’s premier hub for med-tech manufacturing reducing import dependency, generating employment, and boosting local innovation.
