NEW DELHI, 21 JUNE: On the occasion of International Yoga Day and World Music Day, the Patna Municipal Corporation’s Swachhata Awareness Team organized a Yoga cum Music session at Adalat Ganj Talab Park.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ramashish Tiwari, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Rai, Executive Officer Nikhil Kumar, Brand Ambassador of Patna Municipal Corporation’s Swachhata Abhiyan Dr. Neetu Kumari Navgeet, Yoga Guru Darshan Soni, and singer Rajesh Kesari lighted the lamp to inaugaurate the program.
On this occasion, all the dignitaries present planted several Neem and Jamun trees and practiced yoga under the guidance of the Yoga Guru.
After the yoga session, a music session was organized under the Swachhata Awareness Campaign, in which folk singer Dr. Nitu Kumari Navgeet gave a melodious presentation of traditional folk songs of Bihar, including Swachhata songs.
Nitu Navgeet also sang several other songs, including those dedicated to Mother River Ganga. She also sang the popular song “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” liked by Mahatma Gandhi. During the program, Sanjay Mishra on the Casio, Praveen Kumar on the Tabla, and Abhishek Kumar on the Pads accompanied folk singer Nitu Navgeet.
