New Delhi, 20 June: In a commendable move aimed at the convenience and empowerment of senior citizens, Shri Nanak Foundation has introduced a new social initiative focused on making tax filing and financial services accessible, simple, and stress-free. This initiative is particularly designed for elderly individuals who, due to health concerns or difficulties with technology, are unable to manage tax-related tasks on their own.
The Foundation’s initiative provides senior citizens with affordable tax filing solutions, ensuring that the entire documentation process is hassle-free with doorstep collection of necessary papers. Seniors are given priority service so that they do not have to endure long waiting periods. Beyond tax filing, the service offers continuous support throughout the year, including assistance with notices, refunds, and tax planning. Personalized financial advice is also part of the package, helping seniors feel confident and self-reliant in managing their finances.
Liril Bansal, the founder of the Foundation, emphasized that the initiative is not limited to tax filing alone. He said, “Our goal is to ensure that senior citizens never feel isolated. This effort is about enhancing their self-esteem and enabling them to become financially and technologically empowered.”
So far, the Foundation has successfully served more than 5,000 clients, promising complete confidentiality and timely completion of all services. In addition to supporting senior citizens, Shri Nanak Foundation also extends its services to salaried individuals, business owners, and those dealing with capital gains, while offering TDS refunds, 26AS and AIS reconciliation, as well as GST, PAN, and MSME registration along with expert financial consultancy.
