Summer Camp at National Rail Museum Concludes with Creativity, Learning and Celebration

NEW DELHI, 07 JUNE: Starting on 24th May 2025, The Summer camp at National Rail Museum, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, concluded in the auspicious presence of chief guest Smt. Aashima Mehrotra, Executive Director (Heritage) , Railway Board, accompanied by Sh. Dinesh Kumar Goyal, Director, National Rail Museum.


The camp was conducted for children to learn new skills in a safe and nurturing environment of National Rail Museum guided by artists/instructors from different fields and Delhi Police. The camp duration was 14 days, starting on 24th May 2025 and concluded today on 7th June 2025.

Around 86 children in the age group of 5 years to 16 years have participated in different activities.
The camp was organized with an objectives to engage the kids in activities that they find both enjoyable and meaningful; To give them an opportunity to learn and develop skills like Art & Craft, Train Model Making, Dance & Drama , Clay pottery, Folk painting, Horticulture, Self Defence etc. The camp provided an even platform for all kids to explore and express their creativity, in any form and to educate and create awareness among them about various issues like Environment, self defence etc.
