Faridabad, May 30 – Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh, while reviewing the status of complaints received through Samadhan Shivirs, the CM Window, and the SMGT portal, directed officials to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of all pending grievances. He made it clear that any negligence in this regard by officials or staff would not be tolerated.
Taking a firm stance, the DC stated that strict action will be taken against officers who remain absent from review meetings without prior notice. If any official is found to have unattended complaints related to their department while being absent, a report will be forwarded to the Chief Minister’s Office for further action.
He further warned that if old complaints are not resolved satisfactorily by next week, show-cause notices will be issued to the concerned officials. Emphasizing the government’s commitment to public welfare, he said Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini himself monitors the complaints received on the portals on a regular basis.
The DC instructed officials to ensure that grievances are resolved in a way that they do not reoccur. It is now mandatory for departments to contact complainants during the resolution process and confirm their satisfaction. Officials must not close complaints through mere formality; instead, they must provide proper solutions and record feedback from the complainants.
He directed all departments to update and remove resolved complaints from the portal a day before the review meetings. This will allow discussion only on actual pending matters during the meetings and enable a transparent evaluation of departmental performance.
Special efforts should be made by departments with a higher volume of complaints to clear them promptly. In cases where complaints involve multiple departments, officials must coordinate effectively to ensure joint resolution, thereby preventing unnecessary delays.
The review meeting was attended by ADC Satbir Mann, SDM Badhkal Trilok Chand, SDM Ballabhgarh Mayank Bhardwaj, CTM Ankit Kumar, and other concerned officials from various department
