New Delhi, 29 May: New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is proud to announce the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with four prestigious Schools in Delhi – Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Modern School, Guru Harkrishan Public School and St. Thomas’ Girls Senior Secondary School for creating learning hubs. As part of NDMC’s Viksit Bharat mission for holistic development of students and educators, learning hubs are committed to elevate educational standards through collaborative learning and exchange programs on versatile facets of education.
Under the MoUs, key highlights of the collaborations are Sardar Patel Vidyalaya will emphasis on Environment Education, Art Education and Mathematics (Primary Section) while Modern School will Initiate in Teachers’ Training (Play way Pedagogy, English Language), Leadership Training and Sports/Cultural Activities for CWSN Students.
The MoUs also include the provisions of St. Thomas’ Girls Senior Secondary School will Focus on Project-Based Learning and Promoting Inclusive Education while Guru Harkrishan Public School will collaborate for Programs in Music, Sports, Punjabi Language and Cultural Activities.
NDMC’s Efforts and Implementation:
In a proactive initiative to establish learning hubs, Director (Education) NDMC along with the team has done rounds of discussion for on boarding and identification of versatile areas to be covered in MoU through collaborative meetings with leading schools in NDMC area. Final deliberation was chaired by the OSD (Education) on April 8, 2025 for freezing the key areas for cooperation. Following the deliberations, individual Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with each participating school.
The Chairman, NDMC – Shri Keshav Chandra informed that these partnerships reflect our unwavering commitment to transforming education through collaboration. By integrating the strengths of these esteemed institutions, we aim to create a holistic learning ecosystem that empowers students and educators alike.
Director (Education) Ms. Kritika Chaudhary added that this initiative is a milestone in our mission to bridge gaps in education and foster 21st-century skills among the students. We are confident that these collaborations will set new benchmarks for quality education through exchange of programs.
This collaboration will result in favourable outcome in NDMC Schools as well as lead public schools in the areas such as Improving Teaching quality in both public and private sectors, Enhancing student performance & engagement and will strengthen the public-private partnerships in education and encourage innovation
