Chandigarh, May 28: Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij gave a sharp response to a Congress leader’s statement, and said that
“Congress leaders may eat and drink in India, but their minds are implanted with chips from Pakistan. These people always talk about Pakistan; they echo exactly what is said in Pakistani newspapers and on Pakistani news channels, he added.”
Sh. Vij was responding to a question asked by media persons regarding a Congress leader’s statement that there was conflict and ceasefire over the Poonch and Pahalgam terrorist attacks, but no outcome resulted.
On being asked about Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s statement that “Tourism is my responsibility, but security is not,” in the context of security in Pahalgam, Mr. Vij reacted strongly and said that “Security is also his (CM Omar Abdullah’s) responsibility. It’s his government, he is the Chief Minister, and it’s his duty to identify who is working there. It’s also his responsibility to monitor the nature of work being done. Every government has the duty to ensure the security of its country’s citizens, he said.”
Arvind Kejriwal makes announcements without thinking and then fails to fulfill them- Vij
Responding to Arvind Kejriwal’s statement — “I am a Baniya’s son, I’ll get money from anywhere; we made electricity free in Punjab, improved schools and hospitals” — Cabinet Minister Anil Vij called Kejriwal a mere slogan-monger (jumlebaz), and said that “He was quiet for many days. There was such a major war going on in the country, and still he remained silent. Even now he says he’ll bring money from anywhere. But it’s the government that provides funds. He makes announcements without thinking and then fails to fulfill them, Sh. Vij asserted.”
Just as Mohammad Yunus came to power in Bangladesh, the people will now send him back the same way-Vij
Replying to a question regarding a statement by Bangladesh’s leader Mohammad Yunus — who claimed that “India is responsible for the current situation in Bangladesh” — Cabinet Minister Anil Vij said that
“This is an old habit. No one wants to accept their own mistakes. They blame their shortcomings on neighboring countries. The truth about Mohammad Yunus has now been revealed. Just as he came to power, the people will now send him back the same way.”
