All-Party Indian Parliamentary Delegation Arrives in South Korea to Bolster Anti-Terror Cooperation

Seoul, May 24: An All-Party Parliamentary Delegation from India, led by Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha, arrived in Seoul on Friday as part of the Government of India’s regional outreach to emphasize the importance of Operation Sindoor. The three-day visit, scheduled from May 24 to 26, aims to reinforce India’s firm and consistent policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The visit is seen as a strategic effort to enhance diplomatic and security cooperation with the Republic of Korea (ROK), particularly in counter-terrorism initiatives and regional stability.

The delegation includes a diverse group of political leaders and diplomatic experts:

  • Sanjay Kumar Jha (Leader), Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha

  • Aparajita Sarangi, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha

  •  Abhishek Banerjee, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha

  • Pradan Baruah, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha

  • Dr. Hemang Joshi, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha

  •  Salman Khurshid, Former Minister of External Affairs

  • Amb. Mohan Kumar, Former Ambassador of India to France and Bahrain

During their stay in Seoul, the delegation will hold meetings with senior officials of the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the National Assembly, and key representatives from leading think tanks and media organizations.

The visit reflects India’s continued diplomatic engagement to foster stronger international cooperation against terrorism and to promote peace, security, and development in the Indo-Pacific region.
