CM Nayab Singh Saini Meets PM Modi, Hails ‘Operation Sindoor’ as a Historic Strike Against Terror

New Delhi, May 21: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday and congratulated him on the success of Operation Sindoor, a military offensive hailed as a major blow to terrorism. During the courtesy meeting, CM Saini also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Armed Forces for their brave action.

Speaking to reporters later at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi, CM Saini said, “Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our brave soldiers have destroyed terror bases on enemy soil. Such a historic and bold decision could only be taken by a leader like PM Modi.”

Referring to the recent cowardly terror attack in Pahalgam, where innocent civilians were killed, CM Saini said the incident had caused deep anguish across the nation. “The people of India wanted strict action. PM Modi responded with decisive leadership through Operation Sindoor. Our soldiers went into the heart of enemy territory and eliminated those responsible,” he added.

The Chief Minister further said that prior to 2014, the country witnessed repeated terror attacks with no strong response. “There was an atmosphere of fear. No one felt safe. But PM Modi changed that narrative. He has sent a strong message — that the breeding grounds of terrorism will be wiped out, even if it means crossing borders,” Saini emphasized.

He stated that India is now a stronger and more secure nation. “There is a sense of satisfaction among citizens, and fear among terrorists,” he said.

In response to a question on international reaction, CM Saini said, “Operation Sindoor has exposed Pakistan’s real face to the world. It was trying to malign India, but now the world sees who is actually sheltering terrorism. PM Modi has made it clear — blood and water cannot flow together.”

The Chief Minister also informed the Prime Minister about the progress of various developmental projects in Haryana. He appreciated the PM’s support, especially citing new initiatives launched during the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Regarding internal security, CM Saini confirmed that Haryana Police are conducting thorough investigations into suspected espionage cases and strict action is being taken.
