Modi Govt Firm on Wiping Out Terrorism: Bandi Sanjay Vows Zero Tolerance

Karimnagar, May 21: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar reaffirmed the Modi-led Central Government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms. He made this assertion while addressing a gathering at an Anti-Terrorism Day rally organized by the Karimnagar District Cricket Association on Wednesday.

Launching the rally with a patriotic gesture of waving the national flag, Kumar highlighted the transformation in public sentiment following incidents like Pahalgam, stating that citizens are now more willing than ever to stand with the armed forces in the battle against terrorism.

He praised the Indian Army for its bold and precise cross-border operations, which targeted terrorist camps deep within Pakistani territory without causing harm to civilians. “Our soldiers deserve all the credit. Their bravery, use of cutting-edge technology, and strategic planning have ensured our borders remain secure,” he said.

Calling out Pakistan for harboring and funding terrorism, Kumar said, “That country has turned into a sanctuary for terrorists. But under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India has taken strong and decisive action to dismantle terror networks across the border.”

Reflecting on past terror attacks like the Mumbai blasts, and incidents at Lumbini Park, Gokul Chat, and Mecca Masjid, Kumar noted that such tragedies have fostered a stronger sense of patriotism and unity among the Indian people. He emphasized that the fight against terrorism must involve the entire society.

“There should be no confusion or hesitation—terrorism in any form must be completely wiped out. Every citizen, regardless of age, background, or profession, should contribute to this national cause,” Kumar urged.

He also extended appreciation to the Karimnagar District Cricket Association for organizing the awareness rally on Anti-Terrorism Day, calling such initiatives essential for strengthening national security consciousness.

The rally saw enthusiastic participation from youth and civil society members, sending a strong message of unity and resilience in the face of terrorism.
