Delhi, May 6: On second day of Khelo India Youth Games 2025 at Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi, Maharashtra’s Prachi Sashikant Gaikwad clinched gold medal in 50m Rifle 3 Positions (Youth Women) category with a stellar score of 458.4.
Karnataka’s Tillotama secured silver with 455.6, while Anushka took bronze with 445.7.
“This is my second outing at Khelo India after winning bronze last year in Chennai. Now I’ve won gold. I thank Khelo India accredited centers for providing right resources to train. Swapnil Sir is my idol—I follow his training closely. He is known for shaping next-level shooters. Maharashtra has a glorious sporting history and I’m proud to represent my state,” said Prachi.
Delhi is hosting events in Shooting, Cycling, and Gymnastics at Karni Singh Shooting Range and Indira Gandhi Stadium from May 4 to 15. Athletes from across India, including strong participants from Bihar, are making their mark at this national platform.
