New Delhi : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 result will be declared by tomorrow, April 19. Alongside this, the final answer key for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) is expected to be released by 2 PM today, offering clarity to lakhs of engineering aspirants eagerly awaiting their scores.
On Thursday, the NTA briefly uploaded the final answer key on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, but it was taken down shortly afterward, leading to speculation and confusion among candidates. Officials have now confirmed that the final key will be released afresh today.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2 was conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2025, across various centres in India and abroad. The exam serves as a gateway for admission into top engineering institutes, including the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other centrally funded technical institutions.
Earlier this month, NTA released the provisional answer key along with the question papers and recorded responses of the candidates. Aspirants were invited to raise objections or challenge the answers they believed were incorrect. After considering all the valid objections, the NTA finalized the answer key, which now forms the basis for calculating the final scores.
As per the exam information bulletin, the result was originally expected by April 18, but the NTA has now officially confirmed the release by April 19. When the results are declared, candidates can access their scorecards by logging in with their application number and date of birth.
Along with the result, the NTA is expected to publish a detailed list of toppers, category-wise cut-off scores, and statistics such as the number of candidates who appeared, gender-wise data, and state-wise performance.
Notably, results for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be released first, while the provisional answer key and result for Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) are still awaited.
