Palwal, March 21,2025 : Gaurav Gautam, Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports in Haryana has lauded Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, for presenting the largest budget in the history of state. Gautam emphasized that this budget caters to every section of society, including youth, women, workers, athletes, startups, industry professionals, and farmers.
Addressing the media at the PWD Rest House in Palwal, Gautam lauded the inclusive nature of the budget, highlighting that it is a reflection of the government’s commitment to participatory governance. He also informed the public that the Chief Minister is dedicated to ensuring a bright future for the youth of Haryana across various sectors. He added that as part of this vision, a new department called the Department of Future will be created to focus on making Haryana future-ready. Additionally, an AI Mission will be launched, which includes the establishment of AI hubs in Gurugram and Panchkula. This initiative is expected to generate employment opportunities for thousands of young people in the state. BJP District President Vipin Bainsla and Media In-charge Ishwar Singh were also present at the press conference.
Gaurav Gautam highlighted that Palwal district will receive special attention in this budget. Among the key initiatives, a Horticulture Center will be established in the district, and a Medical College will soon be built in the village of Pelak. Furthermore, the extension of the metro from Ballabgarh to Palwal will be initiated in the near future. A large Cow Sanctuary will also be developed to house a significant number of cattle.
The Palwal Municipal Council has been allocated a historic sum of ₹133.61 crores, which will accelerate the development of the city. Minister assured that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Saini, Palwal will witness rapid development. He shared that within the next six months, all the broken roads in the district would be repaired. Additionally, new entrance gates will be constructed on the National Highway and around the city’s borders. Efforts to beautify the city are also underway, with a particular focus on enhancing security. As part of these measures, CCTV cameras will be installed at every major intersection in Palwal.
Also, to further improve cleanliness, the Night Sweeping System will be introduced in Palwal, ensuring the city stays clean throughout the night. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to maintain a cleaner, more organized urban environment. Gaurav Gautam, being the Sports Minister of Haryana, reiterated his continuous efforts to uplift the district’s youth through sports. He announced that appointments for coaches in all sports have been completed, ensuring that athletes have access to proper training without any issues. Work is also underway to establish world-class sports stadiums in Palwal. Minister Gautam expressed his ambition to see Palwal’s athletes excel in future Olympic Games.
