NEW DELHI, 15 March 2025: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to veteran BJP leader and former deputy prime minister Lal Krishna Advani (97) at his residence on 30, Prithviraj Road.
Sharing her experience on social media platform X, Gupta expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet the senior-most BJP leader and Bharat Ratna awardee. “It was an honor to visit former deputy prime minister and BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani at his residence. I had the privilege of receiving his blessings and invaluable guidance,” she posted.
Lauding Advani’s immense contributions to the nation and the party, the chief minister highlighted his lifelong dedication to public service. “His entire journey is a remarkable testament to patriotism, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to the nation. He continues to inspire us with his vision, policies, and relentless dedication to nation-building,” she stated.
Gupta also emphasized how Advani’s leadership has shaped generations of political leaders and played a pivotal role in strengthening the party. She reiterated her commitment to working for the welfare of the people, drawing inspiration from Advani’s principles.
