Praveen Joshi secures victory as Mayor in Faridabad Municipal Elections

Faridabad, March 12: The Faridabad Municipal Corporation elections concluded with full transparency as the vote counting took place. After the counting, Returning Officer and CEO of the District Council, Satbir Mann, presented certificates to the winning candidates at the Mini Secretariat in Sector-12. In a major win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Praveen Joshi emerged as the new Mayor of Faridabad, securing a remarkable victory with a margin of 3,16,852 votes, totaling 4,16,927 votes. This victory marks a significant achievement for BJP in the city. Central State Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar, BJP District President Raj Kumar Vohra, and senior BJP leader Sandeep Joshi were also present at the ceremony to congratulate the winners. The election results showed that BJP won 39 seats in total, while Congress secured 1 seat and 6 independent candidates were victorious.

In addition to the mayoral victory, Returning Officer Satbir Mann announced the results for the ward members in the Faridabad Municipal Corporation elections, revealing a sweeping victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The BJP candidates who emerged victorious across various wards include Mukesh Dagar (Ward 1), Rajesh Dagar (Ward 2), Ravi Kashyap (Ward 3), Sangeeta Bhardwaj (Ward 4), Sheetal Jaiveer Khatana (Ward 5), Gayatri Devi (Ward 6), Savita Bhardana (Ward 7), Rakesh Devi Lohia (Ward 8), Sangeeta Bhatia (Ward 9), Bhagwan Singh (Ward 10), Babita Sandeep Bhardana (Ward 11), Suman Bala (Ward 12), Hari Krishna Giroti (Ward 13), Naresh Nambardar (Ward 14), Jaswant Singh (Ward 15), Manoj Naswa (Ward 16), Shobha Rani (Ward 17), Karmbir Singh Baisla (Ward 18), Jagat Singh (Ward 19), Virendra Bhardana Binde (Ward 21), Harendra Bhardana (Ward 22), Gajendra Bhardana Lala Ji (Ward 23), Seema (Ward 25), Lal Kumar Mishra (Ward 26), Ruby Avana alias Saroj Bala (Ward 27), Ajay Baisla (Ward 29), Anil Kumar (Ward 30), Shaifali Singla (Ward 31), Vinod Bhati (Ward 32), Jyoti (Ward 33), Sanjeev Kumar (Ward 34), Sachin Sharma (Ward 35), Kuldeep Singh Sahni (Ward 36, Unopposed), Mukesh Kumar Aggarwal (Ward 37), Anita Kumari (Ward 38), Pawan Yadav (Ward 40), Mahesh Goyal (Ward 41), Pradeep Tongar (Ward 44), Kiran Bala (Ward 45), and Sohanveer alias Sonu Vaishnav (Ward 46). In addition to the BJP’s success, the Congress candidate Likkhi Chaprana secured victory in Ward 20. Independent candidates who triumphed include Jitendra Yadav (Ward 24), Umesh Sharma (Ward 28), Neelam Bareja (Ward 39), Deepak Yadav (Ward 42), and Rashmi Deepak Yadav (Ward 43). This significant electoral win further strengthens the BJP’s dominance in the Faridabad Municipal Corporation, consolidating its political presence in the region.
