The Impressive TimesNew Delhi, Feb 19, 2025: On 16.02.2025, acting on a secret information & technical surveillance, the team of Insp Manoj Dahiya, AHTU, Crime Branch (ISO- 9001:2015 Certified), Rohini, Delhi has arrested one accused namely Shadab @ Saddam @ Talib r/o Narela, Delhi, Present address: Near Pahar Wali Maszid, Mumbra, Thane, (Maharashtra) aged 28 years from the area of Mumbra, Thane, (Maharashtra). The accused is an associate of Irfan @ Chennu Pahalwan Gang and is previously involved in 17 cases of Murder, Robbery, extortion, attempt to murder, burglary and theft cases of Delhi & Haryana. The accused was evading process of law for 04 years and presently declared proclaimed offender by the courts in 04 cases (Robbery, Extortion, Burglary & one attempt to culpable homicide) registered at Delhi & Haryana.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:-
Team of AHTU, Crime Branch led by Insp Manoj Dahiya, comprising of SI Narender, HC Ajit No. 1464/Crime & HC Jai Kishan No.593/Crime under the close supervision of Sh. Arun Kumar Chauhan, ACP/ AHTU and overall guidance of the undersigned was constituted to nab the gangsters who are involved in robbery, murder and attempt to murder incidents. Secret informers were deputed to track such gangsters.
An information was received to Insp. Manoj Dahiya that a Gangster namely Shadab @ Saddam @ Talib & associate of infamous Irfan @ Chennu Pahalwan Gang is declared proclaimed offender in several cases of Delhi & Haryana and evading the process of law for 04 years. The above team was tasked to work on the case. Further, it was revealed that the accused Shadab @ Saddam @ Talib, is changing his
location frequently. Thus, technical surveillance was mounted and efforts were made to trace him.
On the information received by Insp. Manoj Dahiya and technical surveillance, On 16.02.2025, the team reached in the area of Mumbra, District Thane, Maharashtra and laid a trap near the Pahar Wali Maszid, Sainik Nagar, Mumbra, Thane, Maharashtra and after continuous efforts & raids for 30 hours, he was nabbed by the team and further got arrested under relevant sections of law.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:-
The accused Shadab @ Saddam @ Talib was born in the year 1997 and has studied upto class 8th from the Govt. School, Narela Delhi. He involved in criminal activities at the age of 18 years. In the year 2015, he was involved in crime in the area of Kundli, Sonipat (Haryana) and in a night Burglary and had stolen 200 phones from a mobile shop. After that he was involved in several crimes During his jail period, he came in the contact of Shahbez @ Arbaz, who is close associate & relative of Irfan @ Chennu Pahlwan and joined the gang. They both were involved in an extortion case of P.S Harsh Vihar, Delhi. Since 2021, he stopped attending process of law and left Delhi.
Accused was declared proclaimed offender in following cases :-
1. He is declared absconder in Case FIR No. 811/2015 dated 03.07.2015 u/s 392/411/34 IPC P.S Narela, Delhi vide order dated 01.02.2025.
2. He is declared absconder in Case FIR No. 257/2019 u/s 308/34 IPC
P.S Narela, Delhi vide order dated 30.05.2025.
3. He is declared proclaimed offender in Case FIR No. 476/2020 dated 31.05.2020 u/s 387/506/323/34 IPC P.S Harsh Vihar, Delhi vide order dated 23.12.2023.
4. He is declared proclaimed offender in Case FIR No. 44/2015 dated 25.01.2015 u/s 457/380/34 IPC P.S Kundli, Sonipat (Haryana) vide order dated 14.12.2023.
He has been arrested under relevant section of law and is being
produced before the Hon’ble Court. Further investigation is in progress.
