Morocco and France Forge Stronger Cultural Ties with New Cooperation Agreements

France, Feb. 19, 2025: Morocco and France formalized multiple agreements on Tuesday aimed at bolstering cultural cooperation, encompassing sectors such as cinema, artificial intelligence, cultural heritage preservation, and video game development.

The agreements were signed on the concluding day of French Culture Minister Rachida Dati’s three-day official visit to Morocco.

Speaking at a joint press conference following the signing ceremony, Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid lauded the deepening collaboration and enduring friendship between Rabat and Paris. He highlighted the significance of strengthening ties between the private sectors of both nations, with a special focus on emerging industries like video game development.

Bensaid noted that fostering such partnerships would not only support innovation but also create economic opportunities for young professionals in both countries.
