He breathed his last at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, where he had been receiving treatment for health complications.
Born on September 26, 1932, in Gah, Punjab (now in Pakistan), Dr. Singh was a towering figure in India’s economic and political landscape.
