The Impressive TimesNoida, December 22: Winter carnival was kicked off at the G Block of sector 18, Noida which, people commonly call as CP of Noida. The two day winter carnival started on Saturday, and is named as “Noida Connect” by the Noida authority, inaugurated by Member of Parliament and former union minister Dr. Mahesh Sharma.
Sources in Noida authority informed that the carnival would be hosting a different section for exhibition of products manufactured in Noida, while a separate section would be there for sale of products. Separate area has been provided for food court. Live band playing popular tunes and Santa clause roaming all through the carnival are the center of attraction.

On the first day being a Saturday, people in large number flocked to the event and were seen enjoying their weekend with full flavour of joy. Stalls available to attract the visitors include Mehndi art, tattoo art, Madhubani art and other forms of art. Statutes made in clay, readymade garments, artificial jewellary, bags, mobile accessories, toys etc. were the most in demand of visitors. Activities like drawing and games of clay were available for children to play with. The carnival was open from 2 in afternoon till 9 pm on both the days.
CEO Noida Dr. Lokesh M informed that the program will be organised in different parts of the city from now onwards. He said that the objective of organizing this carnival is to provide a weekend full of entertainment and relaxation to the people of Noida.
Present in the opening ceremony were ACEO Sanjay Khatri, ACEO Vandana Tripathi, President BJP Noida Manoj Gupta, Sanjay Bali, President NEA Vipin Malhan, along with others.
