Dhanyawad Programme at Indri, CM Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stone for Development Projects Worth Rs. 11 Crore

Chandigarh, December 23 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Monday inaugurated and laid foundation stones of four development projects worth approximately Rs.11.33 crore in the Indri Assembly constituency. These projects include the inauguration of a 33 KV sub-station in Mughal Majra village and a swimming pool in Matak Majri village, costing Rs. 9.41 crore. Besides this, he also laid the foundation stones for the construction of sub-health centers in Bibipur Jattan and Danialpur villages, at a cost of Rs. 1.28 crore.

While addressing the gathering at the Dhanyawad Programme, the Chief Minister made a series of announcements. He announced that under the Mahagram Yojana, work for water supply, sewage treatment plants, and laying sewage lines will be carried out at a fast pace in the villages of Sangoha and Sangohi, with an estimated cost of Rs. 24 crore.

The Chief Minister also announced an allocation of Rs.10 crore for constructing a Chhath Puja Ghat and renovating PWD roads, and Rs. 5 crore for the renovation of marketing board roads. Besides this, he announced that Rs.5 crore has been earmarked for the renovation and maintenance of schools in Indri.

The Chief Minister also announced the upgradation of the Sub-centre in Baragaon village to PHC. He said that as demanded by the area residents, the work of the expansion and beautification of the Herbal Park in the constituency will also be started soon. He said that the issue of waterlogging in Dhanaura Escape, which affects surrounding villages and the farmer’s crops, will be resolved soon.

Meanwhile, addressing the demand for ownership rights for residents of wards 10, 11, 12, and 13 in Gudah Indri, the Chief Minister said that a detailed review of the said demand will be done soon and the government would explore possibilities to provide a solution per regulations. He also announced that a 2.5 km stretch of road from Jainpur Road to Khera Road along the Indri escape drain will be paved.

 

The Chief Minister further announced the construction of a VR bridge on Indri Escape, renovating the old bridge, and building a road from RD 0-5200 on the right side of the Indri Escape. He said that the feasibility of expanding the Indri Bypass to four lanes will be examined, and necessary actions will be taken.

Meanwhile, apart from these announcements, the Chief Minister also announced to allocate an additional Rs. 5 crore for development works in Indri.
Indri MLA, Sh. Ram Kumar Kashyap and other dignitaries also remained present during the rally.
