Faridabad- Modern School, Sector 17, Faridabad, celebrated its 46th Annual Appreciation Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur on Thursday in the school auditorium. The event recognized the hard work, talent, and academic achievements of students, while also honoring those with 100% attendance.

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr. Jaishri Choudhary, Chief Managing Director of UDAAN-IAS, and Dr. Anju Dua Gemini, renowned Hindi author and poetess, in the first session. This was followed by a lively cultural programme performed by the young students, adding colour and vibrancy to the occasion.

  

Meritorious students and those with perfect attendance from Nursery to 2nd grade were felicitated with medals and certificates. In the second session, students from classes 3 to 8 were honored for their scholastic excellence and dedication. The session witnessed the presence of Aditya Kaushik, HCS – District Food and Supply Officer, Faridabad, and Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Singh, an eminent educationist, motivational speaker, master trainer in disaster management, and social worker, as the guests of honor.

Dr. Neelima Jain, Principal of Modern School, welcomed the guests with flowers and highlighted the institution’s vision of holistic development. She lauded the tireless efforts of teachers and parents in shaping young minds. Cultural performances included a motivational song “Vijayi Bhav” and a mesmerizing Ladakhi dance, reflecting the spirit and diversity of Indian culture.

In their speeches, the guests praised the school for fostering a culture of achievement rooted in values and encouraged students to dream big while remaining humble and responsible citizens. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vikas, Vice Principal, followed by the National Anthem.
