Delhi Minister Showers Petals on Kanwariyas, highlights Historic Yatra Arrangements

Under CM Rekha Gupta’s leadership, 374 Kanwar camps and 17 grand welcome gates set up across Delhi to support record-breaking pilgrim turnout

New Delhi: Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh greeted Kanwar pilgrims at the Shiv Temple in Rohini Sector-20. On this occasion, he showered flowers on the devotees and extended his gratitude and best wishes for their arduous spiritual journey.

Ravinder Indraj stated that the Delhi Government holds deep respect for the faith and sentiments of the devotees. Under the leadership of  Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, unprecedented and historic arrangements have been made during the Kanwar Yatra.

He mentioned that Delhi has transformed into a city immersed in devotion to Lord Shiva. Inspired by the Jyotirlingas, 17 grand welcome gates have been constructed at various locations. A total of 374 Kanwar camps have been set up across Delhi — more than double compared to the previous year. These camps are equipped with adequate arrangements for accommodation, drinking water, food, and electricity.

The Social Welfare Minister said that the number of Kanwar pilgrims passing through and departing from Delhi is in the millions. The Kanwar Yatra is a deeply spiritual experience, and the people of Delhi are contributing to the success of this event through their dedicated service and cooperation with the devotees.
