New Delhi, November 14: Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Jitin Prasada, today inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh Mandap at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. The event is being held under the theme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”

K. Vijeyndra Pandian, Commissioner & Director Industries, Uttar Pradesh, along with other senior dignitaries, was present at the inauguration ceremony.
The Uttar Pradesh Mandap showcases the state’s rich industrial heritage, vibrant craftsmanship, and strong entrepreneurial ecosystem on a national and global stage. This year, the pavilion features over 140 exhibitors, including traditional artisans, MSMEs, startups, and women-led enterprises from across the state.
A key highlight of the exhibition is the diverse range of products displayed under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. These include handicrafts, textiles, leather goods, agro-based items, and value-added products that reflect India’s vision of “Local to Global” and promote self-reliant, sustainable economic development.
IITF 2025, scheduled from November 14 to 27, continues to serve as one of the country’s most prominent international trade platforms, fostering business networking, cultural exchange, investment opportunities, and collaborative growth.

As the Partner State this year, Uttar Pradesh aims to leverage the fair to expand its export footprint, attract domestic and foreign investment, and strengthen its role in global trade networks.
The Directorate of Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh, reaffirmed its commitment to driving MSME sector growth through progressive industrial policies and comprehensive support schemes designed to accelerate the state’s economic development.
