New Delhi: The book Rajaram, authored by IPS officer Manbir Singh, was launched at the Author’s Corner of the World Book Fair. The release was conducted by chief guest Suryaprakash Khatri, MLA Timarpur, Delhi, and Padma Shri awardee Dr. Sant Ram Deshwal from Sonipat. Addressing the gathering, MLA Suryaprakash Khatri said the book would establish new dimensions in Indian history.
He described Rajaram as a brave warrior of the Braj region who organized a force against Aurangzeb and resisted his anti-human policies. Padma Shri awardee Dr. Sant Ram Deshwal, the special guest, said the book is the result of long research and hard work. He noted that historians have written very little about Rajaram, despite his crucial role in organizing resistance against the Mughals and sacrificing his life to protect the people of Braj.
Author Manbir Singh stated that the book brings to light the life of a great but neglected warrior who laid down his life for the defense of Braj. He said the effort aims to present Rajaram’s contribution before the public, which was overlooked by historians. The program was conducted by Dr. Suryanath Singh, noted speaker and commentator.
