Seminar Highlights Best Practices and Digital HR Innovations for Indian Railways
The Impressive TimesNew Delhi– The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), in collaboration with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), organized a seminar on Human Resource (HR) management today at Northern Railway Headquarters, Baroda House, New Delhi.
The seminar focused on contemporary HR issues, best practices, and emerging trends, with a special emphasis on strengthening HR management within Indian Railways.
Key officials present included the Director General/Human Resource, Additional Member/Staff, Additional Member/HR, Principal Executive Director/Industrial Relations, and the Principal Chief Personnel Officer/Northern Railway. Dignitaries from SHRM also participated, while IRPS officers stationed outside Delhi joined virtually.
A detailed presentation was delivered by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) on the progress and implementation of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), highlighting its role in enhancing efficiency and transparency.
