Faridabad: 2018 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Ayush Sinha on Tuesday assumed charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad.
Prior to this posting, he was serving as the Commissioner of Manesar Municipal Corporation. Earlier, he has successfully served in Yamunanagar as Additional Deputy Commissioner and in other key administrative roles.

Ayush Sinha secured All-India Rank 7 in the Civil Services Examination 2018. Born and raised in Shimla, he completed his schooling there, followed by a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and post-graduation in Biological Sciences from BITS Goa. Coming from a distinguished family of public service and institutional values, Ayush Sinha carries forward a strong administrative legacy.
His grandfather served as a senior IAS officer in the Bihar cadre, recognised for his commendable administrative contributions. His father, Pradeep Kumar Sinha, retired as Additional Principal Chief Conservator, known for long-term involvement in public welfare and environmental conservation.

His mother, Prof. Alka Verma, served as Associate Professor in the Economics Department at St. Bede’s College, Shimla, contributing significantly to higher education.
Adding to the legacy of public service, Ayush Sinha’s wife, Himadri Kaushik, is a 2019 batch IPS officer of the Haryana cadre and is currently serving efficiently in the police department.

With his academic brilliance, rich family tradition of public service, and dedicated administrative experience, the district expects dynamic and effective governance under his leadership.
