Faridabad | April 4, 2026 : The “Viksit Faridabad Thanksgiving Rally,” led by Haryana Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel in the presence of Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, turned into a significant public event reflecting strong citizen support and confidence in ongoing development initiatives.

Addressing the gathering, Vipul Goel described the rally as a collective expression of gratitude and trust, emphasizing that people had come together not with demands but to acknowledge visible progress and leadership. He highlighted Faridabad’s transition from a primarily industrial city to a developing urban center with improved infrastructure, cleanliness, and planning.

Key announcements and developments discussed at the rally included expansion of road networks, smart road upgrades, enhancement of the district hospital, and construction of affordable housing units. Major projects such as a waste-to-energy plant, electric vehicle charging stations, and the East-West Corridor aimed at improving connectivity with Gurugram were also emphasized as crucial steps toward modernization.
CM Saini reiterated the government’s commitment to making Faridabad one of the cleanest and most developed cities in the state. He accepted multiple proposals presented during the rally, including improvements in public infrastructure, pollution control measures, healthcare expansion, and sports facility upgrades, assuring their timely execution.
He also highlighted the government’s track record, noting that many previously announced projects have been completed while others are progressing rapidly. Plans to improve water supply, including efforts to bring Ganga water to the city, were also mentioned.
The event featured initiatives promoting public health and cleanliness, along with employment opportunities for local youth. With an estimated attendance of over 10,000 people, the rally stood as a strong indicator of public engagement and positioned Faridabad as a rising symbol of urban development and economic growth.
