New Delhi, September 23, 2025 – Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda unveiled the official logo and brochure for the upcoming Global Food Regulators Summit (GFRS) 2025 at Nirman Bhawan. The summit, hosted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 26–27 September 2025, in conjunction with the World Food India 2025 event organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.

Highlighting the theme “Evolving Food Systems – Yatha Annam Tatha Manah,” the Minister stressed the deep link between food quality and mental as well as physical well-being. “Food is not just fuel for the body; it influences our mind, emotions, and social harmony,” he said. He called for a multi-dimensional approach to food safety, urging regulators to stay alert to changing food habits and market trends, and to continuously update safety standards and regulations.

Speaking about the summit’s objectives, Nadda said it would serve as a global platform for dialogue among food regulators, helping harmonize standards, enhance risk assessment capabilities, and encourage innovation for sustainable and fair food systems worldwide.

One of the key highlights will be the launch of the “Eat Right Thali” book by FSSAI. This publication showcases balanced traditional thalis from every Indian state, underscoring the value of indigenous diets in preventing lifestyle diseases and promoting mindful eating—an initiative aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to embrace local food wisdom.
