Faridabad- Dr. Suraj Prakash Arogya Kendra, Sector 8, in association with Red Ross Public School and Sharma Medicos, successfully organized a free health check-up camp on August 17 at the premises of Red Ross Public School, Indra Nagar. The initiative drew an encouraging response, with around 70 local residents availing themselves of the medical services offered.
The health camp provided a wide range of services, including blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, general consultation, and free eye check-ups. During the eye examinations, several attendees were diagnosed with previously undetected vision-related issues, highlighting the importance of such preventive health measures. The doctors and medical team also shared valuable guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and spread awareness about common health problems that are often ignored in daily life.

Speaking at the event, Suresh, Director of Red Ross Public School, and Gopal Sharma, Director of Sharma Medicos, appreciated the collaborative effort and emphasized the need for such community health programs. Both directors, along with their respective teams, extended full support to ensure the smooth organization of the camp.
The primary objective of the initiative was to encourage people to remain proactive about their health and to highlight the importance of early detection in preventing serious illnesses. By identifying potential health concerns at an early stage, individuals can seek timely treatment and lead healthier lives.
Such health camps are a regular feature organized by Dr. Suraj Prakash Arogya Kendra. Over time, they have become an important platform for spreading health awareness, especially among communities that may not have easy access to regular medical check-ups. These efforts reflect the institution’s strong commitment to community welfare and preventive healthcare.
