Free consultations, subsidised tests, and community outreach highlight hospital’s commitment to accessible healthcare

Faridabad: A large-scale free health camp was successfully organised at Dr. Suraj Prakash Arogya Kendra, Faridabad, providing quality medical services to over 500 people. The camp offered complimentary consultations from expert doctors across multiple specialties, along with heavily discounted diagnostic tests, ensuring affordable healthcare for all. The camp was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by prominent figures including Dr. Arvind Sood, Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Surajpal Bhura, President of the Sarpanch Association, Kuldeep Sahni, Councillor, Shayan Sarkar, President of the Migrants’ Organization, Dr. Ramesh Aggarwal (Managing Director, Dr. Suraj Prakash Health Center), and Rajkumar Aggarwal (Project Chairman, Dr. Suraj Prakash Health Center). Other distinguished guests included Ashok Goel, Arun Saraf, Sameer Sharma, and Rakesh Gupta.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajkumar Aggarwal emphasised the institution’s mission to serve the underprivileged. “The hospital regularly organises such camps with the objective of reaching the most vulnerable sections of society. Our mission is to extend accessible and affordable healthcare to the last person in the queue. This camp is a step in that direction,” he said. He further highlighted the recent launch of a 24×7 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with world-class medical infrastructure, which has been made available to patients from economically weaker sections at a significantly reduced cost.

“We are committed to ensuring that financial constraints never become a barrier to quality treatment,” he added. Rajkumar Aggarwal also underlined that Dr. Suraj Prakash Arogya Kendra regularly conducts outreach programmes in urban villages, slum areas, and housing colonies, where access to medical services is limited. These periodic health camps, he said, reflect the hospital’s holistic approach towards community health by focusing not only on curative care but also on preventive measures, early diagnosis, and health education. He also reiterated the hospital’s dedication to collaborating with local authorities and NGOs to broaden the impact of such initiatives. “We believe healthcare is a collective responsibility, and through these camps, we aim to inspire other institutions to come forward and join this mission,” he concluded.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community and received wide appreciation from beneficiaries. Patients expressed gratitude for the timely and quality care provided without any financial burden. The event stood as a testament to the enduring social responsibility and compassionate vision of Dr. Suraj Prakash Arogya Kendra in promoting health equity.
