MoS Bandi Sanjay Kumar Inaugurates Forensic Support Centre and Police Infrastructure in Delhi

In a bid to modernize crime investigation, the Centre opens a new Forensic Support Centre and 7 police posts across Delhi.

New Delhi- Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India,  and other senior officials. inaugurated the newly established Centre of Forensic Support and Evidence Analysis at the Crime Branch and the Police Post Golden Park located in Rampura, West District of Delhi, on Wednesday.

He was joined by Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora during the event. The inauguration marks a significant step towards strengthening forensic and investigative capabilities of Delhi Police.

In addition to the physical inauguration at Rampura, the Minister also conducted a virtual inauguration of seven newly constructed police post buildings spread across various parts of the national capital. The initiative is aimed at enhancing law enforcement infrastructure and ensuring better public safety services throughout Delhi.

Officials from Delhi Police and Ministry of Home Affairs were present during the ceremony. The event reflects the Centre’s ongoing efforts to modernize police facilities and promote evidence-based crime investigation techniques.
