Faridabad: Under the Haryana Government’s initiative Samadhan Camp, citizens are being provided solutions to their problems at one place, strengthening their trust in governance. The district-level Samadhan Camp was held on Thursday at the Mini Secretariat auditorium, Sector-12, chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vikram Singh. DC Vikram Singh said that most complaints received during the camp were related to errors in income records on PPP IDs, addition of family members, ration cards, illegal encroachments, as well as issues concerning the police and electricity departments. He directed the concerned officials to resolve these matters promptly. DC informed that the district administration organizes such grievance redressal camps every Monday and Thursday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Mini Secretariat to ensure speedy solutions. He added that the active participation of citizens in these camps reflects their growing trust in the government and administration. Following the camp, DC Vikram Singh chaired a review meeting with administrative officers regarding pending complaints on the CM Window and Jan Samvad Portal. He instructed officials to ensure time-bound and quality disposal of each complaint to provide immediate relief to citizens.

He emphasized that CM Window and Jan Samvad Portal are vital platforms for grievance redressal, and officers must discharge their duties responsibly. If a complaint can be resolved at the field level, officials should act on-site without delay. Reviewing complaints category-wise, DC directed departments to maintain transparency and accountability in every case. He warned that negligence or unnecessary delay by officials would invite strict action. Further, he instructed that complainants should be kept informed about the status of their complaints regularly to strengthen public trust in the administration. The meeting was attended by SDM Faridabad Amit Kumar, DCP Usha Devi, CTM Ankit Kumar, CEO Zila Parishad Shikha Antil, and other departmental officers.
