Faridabad: As part of the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada from September 17 to October 2, Faridabad Police actively conducted a security meeting on September 19 with officials from various institutions. The meeting brought together key representatives of the society, including petrol pump managers, banks, bank managers, jewellers, mall authorities, RWA representatives, and police, in connection with the Prime Minister’s birth anniversary under the Police Public Samwaad initiative.
It was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DCP) Central, Faridabad, Usha Devi, and Deputy Commissioner (DCP) Ballabgarh, Rajkumar Walia, along with local police officers, also organized crime review sessions with the in-charge officers of the respective police stations in their areas. Officials instructed regular checks of CCTV cameras, alarm systems, security guards, and other safety equipment at petrol pumps and banks. They emphasized close monitoring of suspicious individuals, immediate reporting of criminal activities to the police, and public awareness initiatives.
RWA representatives were advised to increase security guard patrols within colonies, maintain entry-exit records, and ensure CCTV cameras are functioning properly. During the meeting, strategies to curb crime were discussed, and managers were directed to promptly resolve pending cases, strengthen patrols and checkpoints, maintain special vigilance over criminals and active offenders, and ensure better coordination with the public. Special attention was also directed toward illegal activities, drug trafficking, cybercrime, and women’s safety. The meeting concluded with instructions for all officials to uphold law and order in their respective areas with responsibility and integrity.
