Faridabad : An important meeting was held today at the Mayor’s Camp Office to review various development works and other issues related to the 89 Assembly constituency. The meeting was chaired by Faridabad Mayor Praveen Batra Joshi. Municipal Commissioner Dhirendra Khadagta, Joint Commissioner Rajesh Kumar, Special Officer Sanitation Asvir Singh, Chief Engineer, concerned Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Horticulture), along with councilors from the 89 Assembly constituency, and other officials were present.

The meeting thoroughly reviewed the progress of ongoing development works in the 89 Assembly constituency, and directed that pending projects be completed within the stipulated timeframe. Public issues related to the area, including sanitation, sewerage, road repairs, streetlights, drainage, and horticulture were discussed in detail.

Mayor Praveen Batra also directed that adequate arrangements be made to drain out water that may accumulate at various locations during the upcoming rainy season.

Instructions have been given to complete all flood-related work ahead of time so that citizens do not face any problems commuting on the roads during the rainy season.

Mayor Praveen Batra Joshi instructed officials to ensure regular monitoring of all works and prompt resolution of citizens’ complaints. Corporation Commissioner Dhirendra Khadagta also gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials and said that any kind of negligence in development works will not be tolerated. It was decided in the meeting that the concerned departments will take timely action on the agenda points and submit a progress report, so that development works in the area can be expedited.
