Faridabad: A mega free health check-up camp was organized at Siddhadata Ashram, located on Surajkund Road, Sector-44, where 417 people availed free medical tests, received on-the-spot reports, and were provided with necessary medicines. The camp was inaugurated by Haryana’s Minister of State for Food and Supplies Rajesh Nagar, Mayor Praveen Batra Joshi, and Swami Purushottamacharya Maharaj. The event also saw the presence of former Education Minister Seema Trikha and Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Rajeev jaitly as special guests.

Inaugurating the camp, Minister Rajesh Nagar emphasized the importance of such initiatives, stating that free health camps are not just services, but moral duties towards society. “Creating hospitals isn’t the only goal,” he said. “We must also ensure people get timely diagnosis and treatment to prevent severe diseases.” He stressed that health awareness is the foundation of a healthy society, and camps like these bring both essential services and a shift in mindset toward proactive healthcare.

Mayor Praveen Batra Joshi underlined the spiritual value of public service, saying, “Manav Seva hi Narayan Seva” (Serving humanity is serving the divine). She reiterated her commitment to the welfare of Faridabad’s residents and said that such health camps are powerful tools to reach underprivileged communities. “They ensure that even those without access to regular medical facilities receive care and inspire all of us to contribute to such noble causes,” she added.

CM’s Media Advisor Rajeev jaitly noted that the camp reflected not only health support but also the spirit of service, sacrifice, and social cooperation. “Events like these guide society toward a better future,” he remarked.

Former Education Minister Seema Trikha said these health camps raise awareness along with offering medical support and should be organized more frequently. “Such events build social harmony and encourage love and brotherhood among people,” she added.

The event was also attended by several dignitaries, including H.K. Garg, Akshay Taneja, Dr. Surender Dutta, Vinod Bhati, Sher Singh Thakur, Surender Rana, and Ajay Lata, who supported the initiative.

The free health check-up camp stood as a significant community welfare effort, merging healthcare, compassion, and civic responsibility, serving as a model for future public service endeavors.
