Delhi Police Wins Title at 2nd All India Police T20 Cricket Tournament (North Zone)

New Delhi : Delhi Police Cricket Team emerged as the champions of the 2nd All India Police T20 Cricket Tournament (North Zone) after defeating RPF team in the final held at Karnal, Haryana. The team displayed a fabulous and consistence performance throughout the tournament.

Competing in Pool A alongside four other teams, Delhi Police advanced to the semi-finals after winning all their league matches in Pool A. The team registered convincing victories against Himachal Pradesh Police, RPF, BSF and Haryana Police to qualify for the semi-finals of the North Zone tournament. The team defeated Punjab Police in the semi-final match to advance to the final.

In the final match of the tournament against RPF, Delhi Police won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, RPF were restricted to a total of 137 runs. In response, Delhi Police, successfully chased the target of 138 runs in just 14.5 overs while losing only one wicket.

Delhi Police batsman Manish Dhillon played an outstanding innings, scoring 63 runs off 41 balls. For his exceptional match-winning performance, he was adjudged the ‘Man of the Match’ and was also declared the ‘Best Batsman’ of the game. Delhi Police delivered a commanding performance in the final match to clinch the title.
