New Delhi, September 13, 2025 – The Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Delhi Police Crime Branch (ISO 9001:2015 certified) successfully traced and reunited six missing or kidnapped children with their families in a series of swift operations conducted across Delhi and nearby areas.
According to the Crime Branch, the first case involved a 13-year-old boy missing since September 7 from Samaypur Badli. Acting on technical surveillance and community inputs, the AHTU team found him near Badli Railway Station. He had left home after a dispute with his father and was safely handed over to the local police.
In the second case, a 17-year-old girl who left home on September 6 after a family disagreement was located near Badli-Bawana Road. She had briefly traveled to Kalka, Himachal Pradesh, before returning to Delhi.
The third case concerned two minors—a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl—reported missing from Bhalswa Dairy on September 10. They were traced to Ghaziabad Railway Station and reunited with their families.
In the fourth case, a 19-year-old woman who had left her Khajuri Khas home in June to be with a male friend was found in the same area and returned safely.
The fifth case involved another 19-year-old woman missing since July 3 from Alipur. She was located in Karan Vihar, Prem Nagar, and handed over to the local police.
All operations were led by AHTU teams under the supervision of ACP Suresh Kumar and involved coordinated efforts by officers including Inspectors Mukesh Kumar and Manoj Dahiya. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Vikram Singh commended the teams for their prompt action and commitment to child safety.
