New Delhi | July 12, 2025: Delhi’s Education Minister Ashish Sood inaugurated a state-of-the-art ‘Future Lab’ at Vivekanand School, Anand Vihar, today. The lab aims to provide students with cutting-edge resources to foster innovation, curiosity, and technological skills. The Minister also felicitated students who excelled in board examinations as well as national and international competitions.

During his address, Sood highlighted the importance of collective achievement, stating, “Along with students, their parents also deserve recognition, for success is always a collective achievement.

Describing the newly inaugurated lab as a visionary initiative,  Sood said, “This lab is not merely a place to learn technology, but a platform to nurture imagination, innovation, and curiosity. Our aim is to shape creators of technology, not just consumers.”

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and faculty members. Addressing the gathering, the Minister remarked, “This is not just an academic celebration, but a powerful message that where faith, talent, and progress converge, the foundation of a new India is laid.”

Quoting Swami Vivekananda,  Sood left the students with three inspiring messages:

  • Curiosity: “Never suppress the questions that arise within.”
  • Courage: “Face challenges head-on.”
  • Strength: “A strong body and resilient mind are the true makers of a great nation.”

Drawing a parallel with Swami Vivekananda’s historic speech in Chicago in 1893,  Sood urged students to carry forward the spirit of India through self-confidence, hard work, and integrity.

He also stressed the significance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future, advising students to embrace AI with responsibility, not fear. “Use it wisely and prepare yourselves for the challenges ahead,” he said.

Concluding the programme,  Sood called today’s youth the architects of India’s future, asserting, “When India completes 100 years of independence in 2047, it is today’s students who will lead the nation. Education is the launchpad that will enable this flight.”

The event marked a significant step towards building a tech-driven, empowered future generation in Delhi.
