CUH Commences Five-Day ‘Deeksharambh’ Program

Mahendergarh – The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, inaugurated a five-day orientation program “Deeksharambh” on Monday for the students admitted in the academic session 2025–26. The program is being organized by the Office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare.
Addressing the students of postgraduate programs under the School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences, the School of Basic Sciences, and M.Tech. programmes, CUH Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar extended a warm welcome, stating that this is the time for students to shape their future through education and skill development. He emphasized that learning is a lifelong process and that knowledge, time management, and moral values play a vital role in shaping responsible citizens for the nation’s progress.

Prof. Renu Yadav, Dean, Students’ Welfare, made a detailed presentation highlighting student-centric facilities and resources available at CUH. The Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, spoke on the vision of India and the role of youth in nation-building, with a special focus on the National Education Policy and holistic development opportunities rooted in India’s traditional Gurukul system.

Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar underlined the importance of adhering to university rules and assured all possible support to the students. Other university officials including Dr. Vikas Kumar, Finance Officer; Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Dean Research; Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Dean Academics; Dr. Santosh C.H., Librarian; Prof. Nand Kishore, Proctor; Prof. Mona Sharma, Provost; Dr. Rajat Yadav, Medical Officer and Health Centre In-charge Dr. Pooja briefed the students about various facilities and services. The program was coordinated by Deputy Dean, Students’ Welfare, Dr. Neeraj Karan Singh, along with Assistant Dean, Students’ Welfare Dr. Mulaka Maruti and Devendra Rajput. On this occasion Prof. Antresh Kumar, Prof. Rupesh Deshmukh, Prof. Vikas Beniwal, Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Dr. Umesh Kumar, Prof. Vipan Parihar, Dr. Anita Singh, Prof. Ram Pandey, Prof. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Prof. Harish Kumar, Prof. Singara Singh, Prof. M.L. Meena, Prof. A.K. Yadav and Prof. Ranjan Kumar Sahoo were also present with a large number of students, faculty members, and officers.
