CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates New Dome & Assembly Hall at Vidhan Bhavan Ahead of Monsoon Session

New dome, renovated assembly hall, and VVIP canteen inaugurated to enhance lawmakers’ facilities

Lucknow- In a significant development ahead of the upcoming monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday inaugurated the newly constructed dome at the entrance of the Vidhan Bhavan. The event also marked the inauguration of the renovated Assembly Hall No. 15 and a newly developed VVIP canteen within the legislative complex.

The inauguration ceremony at Vidhan Bhavan was followed by an all-party meeting called by CM Yogi to discuss key issues and ensure smooth proceedings during the monsoon session. The meeting saw participation from MLAs across the political spectrum, including representatives from the ruling party, opposition parties, and other stakeholders.

Presiding over the all-party meeting was Vidhan Sabha Speaker Satish Mahana. The gathering was attended by prominent leaders including Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, and other key members such as Minister Sanjay Nishad, Om Prakash Rajbhar, Congress MLA Aradhana Mishra, BSP MLA Umashankar Singh, and MLA Kunwar Raghuraj Pratap Singh, popularly known as ‘Raja Bhaiya’.

The Chief Minister’s initiative to convene this inclusive meeting underscores his administration’s commitment to fostering dialogue and cooperation among diverse political groups in the state assembly. Discussions in the meeting revolved around legislative priorities, security arrangements, and other procedural matters to ensure a productive monsoon session.

The newly constructed dome at the Vidhan Bhavan entrance is a part of the government’s broader efforts to modernize and beautify key government buildings in the state capital. The dome, architecturally designed to blend tradition with modernity, is expected to enhance the grandeur of the legislative complex and provide a dignified welcome to lawmakers and visitors alike.

Similarly, the refurbished Assembly Hall No. 15 features upgraded facilities aimed at improving the working environment for MLAs. The new VVIP canteen is also expected to serve the needs of legislators and officials with enhanced amenities and comfort.
