New Delhi– 201 working women in the Burari area experienced a memorable day as they received interest-free loans in the presence of the Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, to help strengthen their businesses and livelihoods. On the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted that social organisations serve as the backbone of society, playing a vital role in improving lives while making invaluable contributions to nation-building.
The Burari event witnessed a grand reception for Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, with the stretch from Burari Bypass to Swaroop Nagar adorned with decorations. As the Chief Minister arrived, local residents showered her with flowers and raised slogans in support of the government.


Several distinguished dignitaries attended the event, including Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari, MLAs Ajay Mahawar and Rajkumar Bhatia, Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh, and Pravesh Wahi, Leader of the House in the Municipal Corporation. Prominent social workers and community leaders such as Mr Dayanand, Provincial Executive Member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Mr Ravi Bansal, and Mrs Kiran Chopra were also present.
Reaffirming her government’s commitment, CM Rekha Gupta said, “Women’s welfare is at the top of our agenda. We are working to ensure the economic upliftment of working women through various schemes on the ground.” She praised ‘Chaupal’ for its efforts to provide interest-free loans to women, enabling them to expand their businesses and secure their livelihoods.
