Sonipat– Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan said that under the Seva Pakhwada campaign launched on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nayab Saini will attend a program as the chief guest on September 22 at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal. He directed officials to perform their assigned duties with responsibility and dedication, ensuring coordination for the success of the event.
On Thursday, the Deputy Commissioner held a meeting with officials at the Mini Secretariat regarding the preparations for the Chief Minister’s program and gave them necessary directions. He instructed the police department to ensure proper arrangements for security, traffic, and parking at the venue. Discussions were also held on arrangements related to drinking water, electricity, cleanliness, seating, toilets, and stage management, and instructions were issued to the concerned officers.
He further directed all BDPOs to ensure proper transportation and food arrangements for people attending the program. Adequate buses must be arranged from all blocks to bring participants to the venue and take them back safely.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that during the program, the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various projects of the Development and Panchayat Department. These include the inauguration of women’s cultural centers across the state, indoor facilities, yoga and exercise halls, and the installation of street lights on village roads (phirni) in 225 villages. He added that he would inspect the venue at 10 am on Friday, and all concerned officers must ensure their presence at DCRUST.
Present at the meeting were Municipal Commissioner Harshit Kumar, DCP Praveena P., Additional Deputy Commissioner Lakit Sareen, ACUT Yogesh Dilhour, SDM Gohana Anjali Shatriya, SDM Sonipat Subhash Chandra, SDM Ganaur Pravesh Kadian, CTM Dr. Anmol, MD Sugar Mill Gohana Ankita Verma, along with other officials.
