DC Vikram Singh & HSSC Chief Himmat Singh oversee smooth conduct of CET-2025 Day One in Faridabad

Efficient coordination, 90% turnout, and inclusive transport arrangements win praise for CM Nayab Singh Saini’s administration

Faridabad- The first day of the CET-2025 examination was successfully conducted on 26th July 2025 across 163 centres in Faridabad. The well-coordinated efforts of the district administration and Haryana government drew praise from candidates and guardians alike. Aspirants from Gurugram, Jhajjar, Nuh, Palwal, and Rohtak reached their exam centres smoothly, supported by free transportation services. The arrangements were especially appreciated by women candidates for their convenience and cost-effectiveness. Surprise inspections were conducted by HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh and Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh, beginning at DAV School in Sector 14. They reviewed biometric verification, security protocols, and overall centre management. Chairman Singh expressed satisfaction, stating that earning youth trust is a responsibility, not a challenge. All centres strictly followed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). HSSC officials reported positive feedback from candidates, many of whom described the arrangements as “unprecedented.”

DC Vikram Singh noted that approximately 42,000 candidates were expected in the first shift, with an impressive 90% attendance significantly above the usual 60–70%. He attributed this to increasing trust in the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The administration created five cluster zones with shuttle services to ensure timely arrivals. During his visit to Nehru College, Sector 16, DC Singh also interacted with parents waiting outside. They praised the systematic and student-friendly arrangements. DC Singh assured that the same level of vigilance would continue in upcoming shifts, in full accordance with the Chief Minister’s directives. In a notable step toward inclusivity, the administration assigned dedicated vehicles and staff to escort differently-abled candidates from their homes to exam centres. Gram Sachivs in rural areas and Junior Engineers in urban zones fulfilled this responsibility.

A mute candidate’s mother shared a heartfelt video message thanking the administration, while her son conveyed his gratitude to the Chief Minister using sign language. Several such videos reflected the government’s compassionate and inclusive approach. The administration also responded swiftly to unforeseen situations.

When a candidate from Jhajjar missed his shuttle at Ballabgarh bus stand, GM Roadways Shikha Antil ensured his timely arrival using her personal vehicle. Similarly, five other candidates were assisted via bike taxis, carpools, and official vehicles. In the NIT area, Naib Tehsildar Umesh Kasana and Tehsildar Neha Saharan also used their own vehicles to transport students who had missed the bus. These acts of empathy and prompt response underscored the administration’s commitment to a smooth, inclusive, and student-focused examination process. Day one of CET-2025 stood out as a model of administrative excellence and public service under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from students, parents, and officials further strengthened public trust in the state’s governance and its youth-first approach
