Palwal: In a remarkable display of social responsibility and commitment to public health, Super Screws Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Faridabad East (Rotary District 3011), successfully organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp on World Blood Donor Day, 14 June 2025. The event took place at the company’s premises at the 72nd Milestone, Delhi–Mathura Road, near Aurangabad Village, Palwal, starting at 8:30 AM.

The camp was honoured by the presence of Alok Mittal, IPS, ADGP, Anti‑Corruption Bureau, Haryana, who attended as the Chief Guest. His participation significantly boosted the morale of donors and volunteers alike. Speaking at the event, Alok Mittal said, “Blood donation is not only an act of kindness but a civic duty that saves lives. I commend Super Screws and the Rotary Club for setting an inspiring example of public–private partnership for a healthier society. However, during peak summer months, we notice a drop in collections as fewer donors come forward. Haryana remains a pioneering state in blood donation—last year, we collected over 5 lakh units. In Faridabad, blood donation has become a culture, with people stepping up enthusiastically year after year. I’m always ready to support such events, and I’m confident this year’s target will be met.”

The event also saw the presence of distinguished Guests of Honour, including Rtn. Mahesh Trikha, District Governor of Rotary 3011, and Rtn. Dr. Ravindra Gugnani, DG Elect, Rotary 3011—both of whom are celebrated for their contributions to humanitarian service.

Rtn. Shammi Kapoor, Chairman of Super Screws Pvt. Ltd., led the initiative with his characteristic energy and compassion. He said that “Blood donation is one of the simplest acts of humanity, and we are proud to be part of this life‑saving mission,”. “Every unit of blood can save up to three lives, and we have witnessed people turning up in great numbers today. The target is set to collect over 300 units, and with such enthusiasm, I’m hopeful we will surpass it.”

Samrat Kapoor, Director of Super Screws Pvt. Ltd., played a key role in the successful execution of the camp. He remarked, “This camp reflects our commitment to the well-being of society and our belief in giving back to the community.”

From the Rotary Club of Faridabad East, the initiative was effectively managed by President-RCF East Rtn. Ajay Gupta, Rtn. H. L. Bhutani (District Director – Blood Donation), Rtn. Ashu Laul (Honorary Secretary-RCF East), Rtn. Tarun Gupta (IPP-RCF East), Rtn. ND Nagpal (Vice President-RCF East), and Rtn. S. C. Tyagi (Director Community Services-RCF East). Their collaborative efforts aimed to encourage public participation and raise awareness about the significance of regular blood donation.

The organisers ensured that all necessary arrangements were in place for a smooth and safe donor experience, including pre-donation medical check-ups and refreshments. The active involvement of employees, volunteers, and members of the local community helped make the event a significant success.

This blood donation drive stood as a shining example of how industry and civic organisations can come together to make a tangible difference. The event successfully transformed awareness into action—saving lives, one drop at a time.
