BJP leader Pema Khandu becomes Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister for third consecutive term

Arunachal Pradesh : Senior Bharatiya Janata Party politician Pema Khandu today took oath of office as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for the third consecutive time. Besides Khandu, 11 other Ministers also took oath at a ceremony held at DK Convention Hall, Itanagar. Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lt. Gen. KT Palnaik (retd.) administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Chief Minister and other State Ministers. The other Ministers of State are Chona Mein, Bhyram Baji, Nyath Dukham, Gabriel D. Wangshu, Wangki Lawang, PD Sona, Mama Natun, Dasanl Phul, Bhararo Raja, Kent Jini and Ojin Tahsin. Present on the occasion were Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister JP Nadda, senior Bharatiya Janata Party politician Ravi Shankar Prasad, Chief Ministers of Assam and Sikkim, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Member of Parliament for Arunachal East Parliamentary Constituency Tapir Gao. In the Legislative Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party won 46 of the 60 seats.
