Amit Shah Extends Statehood Day Greetings to Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura

Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended heartfelt Statehood Day greetings to Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura, praising their culture, biodiversity, and developmental contributions to India’s growth.

New Delhi: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation  Amit Shah extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura on the occasion of their Statehood Day, highlighting each state’s unique contributions to India’s cultural, environmental, and developmental landscape.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter),  Amit Shah praised the vibrant culture and talent of Manipur, calling the northeastern state “a source of pride for the nation” and wished its citizens continued growth and prosperity in the years ahead.

Highlighting Meghalaya’s distinct identity, the Union Home Minister noted the state’s rich biodiversity and its blend of cultures and rituals. He described Meghalaya as “a region that adds immense strength to India’s spirit” and expressed hope that the state will achieve new milestones in development.

Shah also extended his greetings to Tripura, commending the state for its developmental progress. He said Tripura has “established itself as a proud contributor to India’s growth” and wished Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha continued success in steering the state towards fulfilling the aspirations of its people under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Statehood Day celebrations mark a moment to recognize the history, achievements, and potential of India’s northeastern states. Through his messages,  Amit Shah underlined the central government’s support for regional development, cultural preservation, and the welfare of the people in these states.
