Delhi– The Akhand Bharat Mithila Durga Puja Samiti (Registered) organized Durga Puja celebrations in a grand manner at Durga Puja Park, near Lions Hospital, Khizrabad, Taimur Nagar, New Friends Colony, South Delhi – 110025. Established in 2001, the organization also marked its 25th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm this year.

For ten days, a large number of devotees participated in the daily evening aarti at Mata Rani’s darbar. The Mahayagya was conducted strictly according to traditional Maithili rituals by a 10-member team of Acharyas invited from Banaras.


On Vijayadashami, more than 15,000 devotees from across Delhi-NCR took part in Mata Rani’s grand farewell ceremony with deep devotion. The ceremony was presided over by the President of the Akhand Bharat Mithila Durga Puja Samiti (Registered), Rajendra Prasad Kushwaha, along with his team General Secretary Hari Kamat, Treasurer Shankar Kumar Shah, Vishnu Dev Mandal, Brijmohan Kamat, Moti Lal Singh, Vidyanand Vikram, Manoj Mandal, Shivji Mandal, Parmanand Rai, Bhola Yadav, Hare Ram Mandal, and all members. Their efforts received widespread praise for organizing such a magnificent event.
