Ajay Gaur inaugurates renovated Temple at Mahakavi Sant Surdas Memorial in Faridabad’s Sihi Village

Faridabad: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ajay Gaur inaugurated a newly constructed building and temple at the Mahakavi Sant Surdas Memorial located in Sector-8, Sihi Village, by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and dedicating it to the public. The locals welcomed him with flower garlands and presented him with a memento to express their gratitude for his support in the temple’s construction.

Addressing the gathering, Ajay Gaur emphasized the spiritual message that God resides in every particle of the earth, and it is only a matter of recognizing and worshiping Him with sincerity. He said that in today’s fast-paced, convenience-driven world, people are so occupied with material pursuits that they often forget to dedicate time to spiritual devotion. He added, “True happiness is found in the worship of God, which brings wisdom and leads to righteous actions.”

Gaur shared that there had long been a demand from the locals for the renovation of the temple, and he was glad to see that the temple has now been beautifully reconstructed. He informed that the renovation took about a year to complete. The idols of Radha-Krishna, Ram Darbar, Lord Ganesha, and Sant Baba Surdas Ji were consecrated following full Vedic rituals conducted by Pandit Omprakash Shastri.

Prominent villagers, including Pandit Jaiveer Sharma, Pandit Motilal, and Master Devaram Tewatia, praised Ajay Gaur for his genuine commitment to public service, stating that he has always responded positively to the community’s needs and provided unwavering support for the temple project. They expressed deep appreciation for his involvement.

The event concluded with a Havan-Yajna (sacred fire ritual) where participants offered oblations and prayed for peace and prosperity in society.

Among the distinguished attendees were Faridabad BJP District President Pankaj Poojan Rampal, Councillor Anil Nagar, Rajkumar Agarwal, Surendra Jangra, Manoj Vashisth, Moolchand Mittal, Dr. R.N. Singh, Omprakash Rakshwal, Devendra Dixit, Shobhit Arora, Ranjit Rawal, Anil Malik, Advocate K.P. Tewatia, Sanjeev Dalal, Suresh Vats, Wing Commander Harichand Maan, K.C. Sharma, Brijpal Masterji, Yogesh Bhura, Hitesh Vats, Colonel Mandi, Pandit Hariom, Kulbir Tewatia, Chaudhary Ombir Tewatia, and Mukesh Tewatia, among many other prominent citizens.
