Faridabad: A special felicitation ceremony was held at Accord Hospital, Greater Faridabad, to honour Rohtash Chaudhary, who created a remarkable world record by performing 847 push-ups with 60 pounds weight in one hour, earning him a place in the Guinness World Records 2025. Following this achievement, he has been popularly recognized as “The Push-Up Man of India.” Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Chairman of Accord Hospital, lauded Chaudhary’s extraordinary determination and said such inspirational figures are giving a new identity to health and fitness in society. “Accord Hospital is committed to honouring such achievers and promoting a culture of healthy living. This recognition is a salute to his dedication and spirit,” he added. Dr. Yuvraj Kumar, Chairman of the Orthopaedic Department and event coordinator, said that performing 847 push-ups with added weight is not only a record of strength but also a testament to discipline and mental resilience. “We hope youth across the country draw inspiration from this achievement and make fitness an integral part of their lives to build a healthier India,” he said. He further mentioned that Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has also praised Rohtash Chaudhary’s record, describing him as a “Symbol of Fit India.” Expressing his gratitude, Rohtash Chaudhary said his goal is to inspire India’s youth to adopt fitness as a way of life. “With regular exercise, proper diet, and discipline, anyone can stay healthy and strong.
